3 Days. 3 Programs.
Choose Your Days & Bring Your Team.
Day 1: Using Social Media to Attract, Recruit & Engage Students
Day 2: SEMM Trends, Best Practices & Case Studies
Day 3: Team Workshop: Creating Your SEM Framework
The 2012 Strategic Enrolment Marketing & Management Forum (SEMM Forum) features a 3-day program – with options to choose 1, 2, or all 3 days!
Join us in Toronto (May 2nd to 4th) for the strategies, insights, ideas and tactics you need to take your student enrolment to a new level.
The first day will be focused entirely on enhancing your understanding and capability with social media. Learn strategies, helpful tips, key policies, and innovative tactics to make a far greater impact at all stages of the enrolment management process: from attraction through to engagement.
The second day will feature two tracks of workshops on a wide range of topics related to marketing, recruitment, and retention – including best practices, case studies, new research, and much more. This day is designed to give you new ideas to enhance your work in the full spectrum of strategic enrolment management and marketing.
The third day is your turn to put your learning and ideas into a plan. In this facilitated workshop, you (and your colleagues!) will be led through a SEM Framework allowing you the opportunity to draft plans and gain a much better understanding of how to move from concepts to action!
We hope you join us for all 3 days – but feel free to select those that meet your greatest interests and most pressing needs. Register now for 1, 2 or all 3 days!
Testimonials
- The SEMM Forum in Vancouver provided a great opportunity for our group of more than 20 colleagues from SFU to spend a day together with industry leaders. It was of great value as it allowed us to access current data and expertise and dialogue with other institutions and each other for a very reasonable cost.”
– Nancy Johnston, PhD, Senior Director, Learning and Retention, Simon Fraser University - A great opportunity for Canadian higher education professionals to meet, learn & network. I hope we can do it again.”
– Julie Hummel, Associate Director, Marketing & Undergraduate Recruitment, University of Waterloo - This was a great opportunity to hear from knowledgeable experts from a diverse set of backgrounds and to share ideas and best practices with new acquaintances from other institutions. I look forward to returning with more of my colleagues next year.”
– David Prang, Director, Student Services, Wilfrid Laurier University - The Forum provided several lifetimes of experience presented compactly in one day. Stop aging and start evolving! Add this session to your experience. All the information and experience you need to get up to date on what is taking place in recruitment and retention.”
– Brent Calvert, Associate Manager, Strategic Enrolment & Planning, Capilano University - It was great to attend the Forum along with a large group from our school. Now we’re all up to date and on the same page with a lot of new ideas to take back to the college with us.”
