Program & Schedule
The Campus Recruitment Accelerator is designed to provide a foundational understanding of many areas of the business; challenge the assumptions that may limit your thinking; and energize you to achieve greater outcomes.
The program features eight, 1-hour sessions that include workshops and sessions that will be presented live online synchronously over eight weeks. Each week will include opportunities for participants to reflect on their learning, take part in small and large group discussions, meet with their peers, and complete self-guided learning and assignments. Participants will be supported via a dedicated web portal to access educational materials, connect with peers, post and comment on discussion questions, and share best practices and information throughout the program. All sessions will be recorded and made available for review for 6-months after the completion of the program.

Is the Campus Recruitment Accelerator right for me?
If you’ve been in campus recruitment for more than one year and you’re in a role that includes campus recruitment or early talent acquisition then yes, the Accelerator is absolutely right for you! You will discover new tools and strategies for tomorrow, tactics and best practices along with making connections and discovering resources that will support your success and help you to exceed your recruitment goals and advance your career!
If I have less than one year of experience in campus recruitment, is this program right for me?
If you’ve had more than a few weeks and less than one year of campus recruitment experience, the Campus Recruitment Essentials program was built for you. Through this program, you’ll gain confidence in your approach and have a plan to dramatically improve your return on investment on campus.
What are the key program learning outcomes?
Upon successful completion of the Campus Recruitment Accelerator program, graduates will be able to:
- Implement a process for evaluating each component of their campus recruitment strategy under three major pillars (Planning, Pipeline, and Performance) and across all ten key success factors that are critical to building a best-in-class campus recruiting program.
- Describe the concepts, principles, and terminology commonly used in campus recruitment and experiential learning.
- Create their organization's unique value proposition to stakeholders.
- Determine how to navigate relationships with both external and internal stakeholders including prospective early talent, on-campus partners, early talent supervisors, and senior management.
- Identify common practices that will lead to the creation of impactful and engaging branding and marketing assets such as web pages, social media, recruitment events, keep-warm strategies, and other candidate-focused activities.
- Build a business case using key data and metrics to meet business units and larger organizational needs.
- Gain strategies and tools that will support the organizations' diversity, equity, and inclusion recruitment goals.
- Identify the specific strengths and weaknesses of their current campus recruiting programs and prioritize plans for improvement.
Is the Fundamentals of Campus Recruiting program still available?
The Campus Recruitment Accelerator is an expanded version of the former Fundamentals of Campus Recruiting program and has replaced that program. If you have less than one year of experience in campus recruitment or if managing student hiring is one of your numerous responsibilities, you should consider completing the Campus Recruitment Essentials program before enrolling in the Accelerator.
If I attended the Fundamentals of Campus Recruiting program in the past, should I register?
The program has undergone major revisions in the past few years. If you attended the program prior to 2022, you'll gain tremendously by joining the program this year.
What is the schedule and time commitment?
The core of the program is four, 2-hour sessions held over 5 weeks. In addition to the 2-hour sessions, it is expected that participants will comment on discussion board topics, connect with co-participants, and complete quizzes. All sessions will be recorded so that participants can access any sessions that conflict with their personal schedules.
Will there be recordings available?
Yes, all sessions will be recorded and available exclusively to program participants on the dedicated web portal for 6 months after the completion of the program.
What happens if I miss a session?
There’s a good chance that a session or two may conflict with your other commitments. Recordings of sessions will be posted on the web portal along with educational materials within 24 hours of each workshop, so you’ll have plenty of opportunity to catch up.

No refunds will be provided within three weeks of The Academy. Cancellations three weeks or more before the event date will be refunded less a $100 administration fee.
Substitutions from the same organization are welcome at no cost up to three weeks before the event date.
